Over the last 24 hours, 34 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 26,127 tested, 7,572 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Friday.
To date, COVID-19 has officially claimed 7,698 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.09 percent.
Currently, 4,054 people are in hospitals, of whom 163 are on ventilators.
Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 5,368,692 people have been tested, and 853,686 have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
