Over the last 24 hours, 35 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 14,565 tested people, 2,971 were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Thursday.

To date, COVID-19 claimed a total of 5,881 lives with a mortality rate of 0.90 percent.

On Thursday, a total of 7,341 patients were in hospitals, of 259 whom on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 3,646,957‬ people have been tested, ‬ and 654,870‬ samples have returned positive for the new virus.
