Serbia's coronavirus UPDATE: 35 deaths, 2,971 newly infected
Over the last 24 hours, 35 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 14,565 tested people, 2,971 were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Thursday.
To date, COVID-19 claimed a total of 5,881 lives with a mortality rate of 0.90 percent.
On Thursday, a total of 7,341 patients were in hospitals, of 259 whom on ventilators.
Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 3,646,957 people have been tested, and 654,870 samples have returned positive for the new virus.
