Over the last 24 hours, six patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 12,818 tested, 1,497 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday.

To date, COVID-19 has claimed 7,183 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.98 percent.

Currently, 894 people are in hospitals, of whom 30 are on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 4,858,071‬ people have officially been tested, and 736,313 ‬have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
