The agreements were signed by Prime Ministers Ana Brnabic of Serbia, Edi Rama of Albania, Zoran Tegeltija of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albin Kurti of Kosovo, Dritan Abazovic of Montenegro and Dmitar Kovacevski of North Macedonia.

The agreements allow travel across the region with ID cards, and recognize each others’ university qualifications and the professional qualifications of doctors, dentists and architects.

The three agreements were approved by Western Balkans foreign ministers at a Berlin Process meeting on October 21 after three years of negotiations.
