The Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) said on Tuesday, its Patriarch Porfirije was positive for SARS-Co-V2 and that, following a protocol and doctors' advice, he would be treated at home.

The SPC statement added Patriarch had mild symptoms.

“He is in constant electronic communication with associates and performs administrative tasks completely unhindered. He also prays for doctors, other medical staff, and those affected by the epidemic. The Patriarch expresses regret that the public manifestations in which he was supposed to participate have been postponed until further notice,” the statement added.
