The city of Split has donated 20 used buses to Mostar, and the first seven were delivered to the southern Bosnia and Herzegovina city on Wednesday, which will help renew the city's 20-year-old vehicle fleet.
Mostar Mayor Mario Kordic thanked the Split city authorities and the city's Promet Split transport company for donating buses that were in good repair, having been used in Split for only a few years.
The buses currently used for public transport in Mostar were donated by Japan in 2002 when the Japanese government donated 36 buses.
