
The mayor of Foca municipality in the Federation of BiH, Mujo Sofradzija, on the proposal of the municipal Civil Protection Staff, has issued a decision declaring a state of natural disaster in this part of Bosnia Podrinje Canton.

The decision was made after analyzing the current situation and the consequences of heavy rainfall, which have also been evident in this municipality.
The Drina and Kolina rivers, along with their tributaries, whose water levels are now receding, have in recent days caused problems on roads and led to blockages of channels and culverts. Operational efforts have been made to intervene at the most affected locations.
Access to the villages of Zabor and Dragovici is currently blocked for motor vehicles due to a clogged culvert, with repairs possible only after the water level of the Silovicki stream decreases.
The situation on the Osanica river remains unchanged, where the bridge leading to the villages of Mihovici and Krc is completely damaged and unusable, prompting consideration of establishing an alternative road route.
The public utility company “Usce” Foca-Ustikolina reported that water from the public supply is currently not potable due to flooding at the water intake, while electricity supply is functioning normally without major interruptions.
No activation of existing landslides or occurrence of new ones has been reported at this time.
