One individual was taken into custody this morning in connection with the deliberate torching of the official city vehicle used by Mostar Mayor Mario Kordic.
"One person was arrested in the early morning hours on Friday for setting fire to the official vehicle of the City of Mostar," Ilijana Miloc, spokesperson for the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Ministry of Interior (MUP HNK) confirmed to Bljesak.info.
The incident occurred on Wednesday at approximately 3:40 am in Mostar. A Skoda Superb, the official vehicle utilized by Mayor Mario Kordic, caught fire. Police and the Mostar Fire Department immediately responded to the scene. The front section of the vehicle was completely destroyed in the blaze.
Numerous domestic and international officials have strongly condemned the arson attack on the Mostar Mayor's vehicle.
