Telenor files new law suit against United Group, SBB, Adria News

In its new lawsuit, Telenor accused United Group, SBB and Adria News over what it called an untrue and intensive media campaign using its media outlets N1 and Nova S in what Telenor feels is an attempt to prevent or hamper Telenor’s appearance on the media content distribution market as a new competitor.

Just like the previous lawsuit which Telenor Serbia filed demanding damages, the lawsuit for unfair competition includes a demand for companies owned by United Group to be banned from media activities claiming that those activities are in violation of the law and good business practice and that the court ruling should be published by the media.

Telenor will determine the amount of the damages later, the company said.
