Twenty deaths and around 40 missing persons reported after Bosnia floods

According to N1's Mirna Zdralovic, there is a lot of speculation about what could have led to these catastrophic consequences. The official death toll in Jablanica was 16, but one more body was found in the evening, and it is feared that the final number could be much higher.

The Federation (FBiH) entity's Civil Protection Administration confirmed for N1 that 20 to 40 people have disappeared, i.e. they are trapped in the ruins or are underwater.

The mosque and many houses in Dona Jablanica are still completely submerged, and excavators are trying to dig canals so that the water can recede to continue the search for the missing.

Although it is dark now, the teams are still on the field.
