The United Nations rejects all kinds of hate speech, war crime and genocide denial as well as any glorification of war criminals in Bosnia and Herzegovina and all over the world, a spokesperson for the organization said in New York.
“The Secretary-General, as you will remember, has emphasized in his message on the 25th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accord that building a peaceful future requires facing the past,” said spokesman Stephane Dujarric. “This means acknowledging that horrific crimes have been committed during the war.”
“The Secretary-General also emphasized that those crimes should never be forgotten, nor should the perpetrator’s ideology be glorified. Hate speech or narratives of mistrust and fear have no place in an inclusive, peaceful Bosnia and Herzegovina,” he added, according to Voice of America.
