US Embassy: Adoption of amendments to Southern Interconnection Law strengthens BiH energy security
The Embassy of the United States in Bosnia and Herzegovina welcomed the adoption of amendments to the Law on the Southern Interconnection in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), stating that this is a 'fantastic day for energy security' in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to the statement, the adopted amendments lay the foundation for a US investor to build a gas pipeline that will carry American gas to Bosnia.
The Embassy emphasized that the pipeline will open new economic opportunities for all citizens, while cooperation on the Southern Interconnection project strengthens bilateral relations between the two countries.
"Let’s work together to complete this project and launch a new era of economic growth in BiH," the US Embassy said.
