According to the Tuzla Canton Interior Ministry, Police Station Zapad was informed by a resident that S.B. and E.S.T., living in Lipnica, Tuzla City, have not answered their phones for two days. The person who called the police said that E.S.T. who is a foreign national, answered his video call earlier in which he noticed that E.S.T was covered in blood and that S.B. was lying on the bed.

Police officers from PS Zapad and a Tuzla Health Center EMT were immediately dispatched to the scene where forced entry was made into the apartment only to find the lifeless body of a female S.B., whose death was confirmed by the EMT doctor. and the man E.S.T. with visible abdominal injuries, who was transported to the Tuzla University Hospital for medical treatment.

The on-duty prosecutor of the Tuzla Canton Prosecutor's Office and the investigative team of the Criminal Police Sector are at the scene, and all further measures and actions are being taken according to the order of the Prosecutor. The on-duty Prosecutor will issue an autopsy order for the body of the deceased to determine the exact cause of death.
