According to the Missing Persons Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 487 people are still unaccounted for, and today an appeal was once again made to reveal the locations of their remains so that they may be buried with dignity.
Hedija Kasapovic, president of the Association of Families of the Missing Visegrad 92–95, emphasized that unfortunately, more than three decades later, nothing has changed.

"It is heartbreaking that our loved ones are still not being found. Only one funeral is planned for today. War criminals are not being arrested but walk freely through Visegrad. Still, as long as we are alive, our dearest will not be forgotten," said Kasapovic.
Saliha Djuderija, director of the Missing Persons Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stressed that Visegrad is one of the ten municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the highest number of missing citizens, including many women and children.
After the commemorative gathering at the Mehmed Pasa Sokolovic Bridge and the noon prayer at the Careva Mosque in Visegrad, a funeral prayer was held at the Straziste cemetery, followed by the burial of the remains of Ibrahim Avdagic (41), a victim of war crimes from this town who was killed in 1992.
