Eighth-grade students from the Sarajevo "Kovacici" elementary school made a poster in the colours of the flag of Ukraine in support of all residents of that country, which has been under attack by Russia for almost a month, now. The artwork was accompanied by a symbolic message that N1 reporter Ika Ferrer-Gotic, who has been staying at the Ukrainian border for a week, conveyed to the children of that country.
Sarajevo students made a poster in yellow and blue and wrote their names on the hearts drawn on the poster.
“Bosnia has won, Ukraine will win, too. We send you love and support – let it be the weapon of victory” these are just some of the messages that the students wrote and symbolically sent to the Ukrainian people in front of the War Childhood Museum in Bosnia’s capital.
These emotional words reached the youth of Ukraine.
“I am just grateful. This connection with you is very important to us. I work with children who are refugees, and who need all the support they can get. That support is very important to us, so thank you,” said a young Ukrainian to the N1 team.
