32nd Sarajevo Film Festival concludes, 'Everytime' wins Heart of Sarajevo

The ceremony, hosted by Helena Vukovic, brought the eight-day festival to a close after 269 films and series from around the world were presented in Sarajevo.

Ana Urushadze won the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Director for "Supporting Role", while Eva Kostic was named Best Actress for her performance in "17".

The Heart of Sarajevo for Best Documentary Film went to "To Hold a Mountain", directed by Biljana Tutorov and Petar Glomazic, while Karla Jelic's "Holy Defiance" won the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Short Documentary Film.

"The Ferry Flows", directed by Zhora Papoian, received the Special Jury Prize.

Tamara Todorovic's "Nobody Said Anything" won the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Short Film, while Sis Gurdal's "Porkatal" received a Special Mention.

The Heart of Sarajevo for Best Student Film went to Reka Pinczes for "Unwellness".

Kosara Mitic's "17" received the Special Award for Promoting Gender Equality, while Helena Maksyom's "Don't Ask Me If I Killed" received a Special Mention in the same category.

"Skateboarding Is Not for Girls", directed by Dina Duma, won the Special Youth Perspectives Award.

A total of 51 films competed for Heart of Sarajevo awards across the competition programmes at the 32nd edition of the festival, held from August 14 to 21.

Acclaimed British actress Emily Watson chaired the Feature Film Competition jury.

After eight days of screenings, red carpets, concerts and appearances by filmmakers and guests from around the world, the awards ceremony brought the 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival to a close.
