Conference "Religion and Politics" begins in Zagreb

The conference brought together 35 scientists who will discuss the relationship between religion and politics.

The head of Croatia's Muslim community, Zagreb Mufti Aziz Hasanovic, said he was happy that the Islamic Community was organising this conference for the 25th time.

He added he was happy that the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, and the Bosnian Academy of Sciences and Arts, had joined them.

"We do not want to bring politics into religion or religion into politics, but we want to make sure that everyone is doing their job for the well-being of all," Hasanovic said.
