The Tesanj Municipality will get the biggest national flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the country. The flag will be raised on Thursday, amid the opening of the 14th Tesanj Trade Fair.
The flag's mast is 70 metres tall and the flag raising ceremony will be attended by Bosnia's Council of Ministers Chairman Denis Zvizdic and other officials.
“The mast is 70 metres tall and the flag is 30 x 20 metres big. It is currently the tallest mast and the biggest flag in the country and the flag has been ordered and delivered all the way from Ankara,” said Head of the Tesanj Municipality Suad Huskic.
According to Huskic, the mast was made thanks to the donations of businesses registered in the territory of the Municipality and the details of the donations will be presented to the public on Thursday, on the first day of the Fair.
This year's 14th International Trade Fair in Tesanj will be held May 10th-13th, in a hall the size of almost 5,000 square metres, and in open exhibition spaces the size of 12,000 square metres.
