Bosnia’s Council of Ministers Chairman Denis Zvizdic presented the results of Sofia, Brussels and London summits which were attended by Bosnia’s delegation. Bosnia achieved remarkable success on all three summits, he said.
Speaking about the Sofia summit, the Central and Eastern Europe – China ‘16 + 1’ Summit, Zvizdic expressed satisfaction with the achieved results and reached agreements and projects. This year Bosnia expects over 50,000 Chinese tourists and 100,000 in 2019 via the Valter’s path project for which China expressed immense interest.
When it comes to the Western Balkans summit in London, Zvizdic pointed out that the summit was dominated by topics from the fields of economy, foreign policy and security.
“I can say that Bosnia had the best projects at this summit. We got three projects worth EUR 275 million. Bosnia also received grant funds worth EUR 38 million,” Zvizdic said.
He stressed that in the past 12 months, Bosnia gained 12 projects worth more than BAM 1 billion (around EUR 500 million) with grant funds reaching BAM 180 million (around EUR 90 million).
“We signed four joint declarations in London, on regional cooperation, good neighbourly relations, war crimes and missing persons, and fight against corruption,” Zvizdic concluded.
