The allegations that Bosnia’s intelligence agency wiretapped the President of Republika Srpska (RS), Bosnia’s Serb-dominated part, and the President of neighbouring Serbia are a not true and represent a media spin, Bosnia’s Security Minister said at a Wednesday press conference.

RS President Milorad Dodik on Wednesday said that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic presented documents proving that Bosnia’s intelligence agency, OSA, wiretapped him and Dodik to the Serb member of Bosnia’s tripartite Presidency, Mladen Ivanic, according to the RS public broadcaster, RTRS.

Serbia’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Ivica Dacic, said that the wiretapping of Serbian officials proved that intelligence agencies in Bosnia are aimed against Serbia, RTRS reported.

But Bosnia’s Security Minister, Dragan Mektic, said that he met with the head of OSA, Osman mehmedagic, a day earlier and was told that there are no reasons for the agency to wiretap Serbian and RS leaders.
