Residents of Podgora village have hung a billboard telling all Bosnian politicians and parties not to come to their local community because they “had enough of their lies.” The billboard was made amid the general election campaign which is underway in Bosnia.

Residents of this village near Breza, Central Bosnia, made a large billboard saying “No party is welcome in Podgora, you’ve been lying to us for years," and hung it in the very centre of their Local Community.

Speaking to N1, one of the residents, Amir Solak, said the residents decided to do this because they cannot stand any more lies.

"The billboard was made by residents who couldn’t stand the constant dissatisfaction because no government or ruling party ever did anything to fulfil any of their promises," Solak said.

He added that in spite of many promises, there were no investments in Podgora since the end of the war in Bosnia (1992-1995).

"There were no investments in Podgora, starting from the road infrastructure and so on. Our children are playing ball in the open street, our main road in the local community still remains unpaved," he noted and added:

"Our village is in 2018, yet it looks like the war just ended here."

The general election in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held on October 7.
