Preliminary election results for RSNA and RS President

According to the preliminary results of Bosnia’s general election, the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) leads the race for the Republika Srpska National Assembly (RSNA) and SNSD’s Zeljka Cvijanovic leads the race for RS entity President.

After counting 74,06 percent of votes, the SNSD leads the RSNA race with 153,639 votes (32.68 percent), followed by the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) with 89,51 votes (19.04 percent), Democratic National Alliance (DNS) with 67,823 votes (14.43 percent), Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) with 46,518 votes (9.90) and the Socialist party (SP) with 14,326 votes (3.06 percent).

Bosnia and Herzegovina held its general election on Sunday, October 7 where citizens had the opportunity to vote for Bosnia’s tripartite Presidency, the RS President, state and entity parliaments and cantonal governments in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina entity.

SNSD’s Zeljka Cvijanovic leads the race for the RS President with 234,912 votes (47.67 percent), followed by Vukota Govedarica from the Victory Alliance with 210,066 votes (42.63 percent), Ramiz Salkic from the Together for Bosnia coalition with 13,130 votes (2.26 percent) and other candidates.
