The Srebrenik Fortress, one of Bosnia's oldest royal castles

Dron.ba za N1

Sitting on a hill and overlooking the surrounding fields and forests in the area of the north-eastern town of Srebrenik, Bosnia’s most well-preserved medieval castle is a sight to behold.

While the exact date of when it was erected remains unknown, the earliest available record mentioning the fortress dates back to 1333.

The Srebrenik Fortress used to be the home Bosnian Ban (King) Stjepan Kotromanic II. Today it is an attraction for thousands of visitors who come to experience a piece of Bosnian, but also European history.

The monument to the history of the Bosnian Kingdom only becomes more impressive when covered by snow.

Footage by dron.ba in cooperation with N1 fully exposes the beauty of the castle in the winter.
