More than 15 people were hospitalised in Mostar due to injuries caused by strong winds that blew across Herzegovina on Saturday, local media reported.
Among the victims is an employee of a gas station who was placed in intensive care after he suffered life-threatening injuries when a plank fell on his head.
A child broke its fingers when a garage door slammed down on its hand and a woman who broke her hip when she was knocked down by the wind.
The winds have caused massive damage across the Herzegovina region, tearing down trees and flipping over vehicles.
Strong winds have also caused havoc in Tomislavgrad, where local authorities declared a state of natural disaster.
The situation is similar in Siroki Brijeg, where local authorities even warned residents to avoid leaving their homes. Torn down trees damaged a number of cars, while homes in the area were left without electricity on Saturday morning.
