The northeastern town of Lukavac is the 92nd most polluted town in the world according to AirVisual, a global air pollution monitor.

AirVisual tested air samples from 3,000 cities across the world and created a list of the top 100 most polluted. 

Among the top 30 are 22 towns in India and the rest is mostly dominated by other towns across Asia, particularly in China.

However, the organisation also noted that air pollution is a global issue, CNN reported.

Besides Lukavac, no other European town was ranked among the top 100.
