N1 correspondent in the southern Serbian city of Nis Milan Stojanovic reported an incident which he believes could have been an attempt at intimidation.

A so-far unidentified driver tried to force Stojanovic’s car off the street by braking suddenly and increasing speed. The unidentified driver forced the N1 correspondent to stop on the very steep street and then rammed into his car.

Stojanovic said he saw a young man driving the other car in his rear view mirror. The incident happened on Friday night at 09:00 pm after the 1 in 5 Million protest which he reports on regularly.

The N1 correspondent reported the incident to police who investigated at the site near Stojanovic's home and then questioned him twice on Saturday, April 6.

N1 expects the police to discover the motives behind the incident because its correspondent is in danger at present.

N1 will report the incident to local and international organizations which protect journalists.
