Sarajevo Business Forum, the international investment conference that has been gathering for the past nine years the prominent political and business figures from the region and the world, will open on Wednesday in the Bosnian capital.
The event is organised by the Bosna Bank International (BBI) and the Islamic Development Bank, under auspices of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to organizers, the three-day event will focus on building the infrastructure that would enable economic and other relations but also improve Bosnia's and the region's representativeness as strong business partners.
The business conference is marking its jubilee this year, the tenth anniversary, and will host numerous delegations including those from neighbouring Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro as well as Slovenia, Albania, Turkey but also from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Oman, Lybia, Kuwait and many other countries.
Bosnia Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik will open the 10th Sarajevo Business Forum along with Prime Minister of Malaysia Mahathir Mohamad and the conference's organiser, BBI CEO Amir Bukvic. Ex Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu also confirmed his presence in the event.
