The Chairman of Bosnia’s Presidency, Milorad Dodik, wished a happy Easter to all Orthodox Christian believers and authorities of the Serbian Orthodox Church, noting that the holiday’s messages are part of the civilizational values that are deeply entrenched into the tradition of Orthodox Christians.
“Celebrating the biggest holiday, filled with noble thoughts and with a heart full of joy, I greet you with our traditional greeting: Hristos vaskrse – vaistinu vaskrse,” Bosnian Serb leader said.
The Easter greeting, when translated literally, means “Christ has risen,” to which the answer is “truly he has risen.”
Dodik wished all Orthodox Christians good health, unity and joy with their families.
