A mass grave containing remains of several victims was discovered on Wednesday on Igman Mountain near Sarajevo, news agencies reported.
According to available information, the body remains belong to the Bosniak victims from Donji Hadzici village, who went missing in summer 1992 and were searched for a long period of time.
The search was carried out within a case at Bosnia's Prosecutor's Office in a joint operation of the Federation's Civil Protection Administration, the State Protection and Investigation Agency and investigators of the Missing Persons Institute, and the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) is providing technical assistance at the excavation.
The mortal remains will undergo a forensic analysis and ICMP will DNA test and match biological samples to help identify the victims
