Djukanovic was on the run since April 22, when Krunic was gunned down.

Krunic was the owner of several enterprises, including security agency ‘Sector Security’ and bakery chain ‘Zitopeka’. He was killed along with his bodyguard, Zarko Pavlovic, in what appeared to be an ambush near his house in a suburb of Banja Luka.

One of the attackers, Zeljko Kovacevic, was also gunned down in the shootout.

Another suspected attacker, Emilio Baldo, was arrested previously.

One of the employees of Krunic’s Sector Security, Rodoljub Gajic, was arrested during the investigation. Gajic was securing Krunic’s wife and children, and police suspect he was in contact with the alleged assassins and provided information about his boss to Djukanovic and Baldo.
