Several thousand young Catholics have gathered in the southern town of Medjugorje to pray together at the traditional international ‘MladiFest’, which began on August 2 and lasts for six days.

Medjugorje is a place of pilgrimage for Catholics for decades already, after local children reported that Virgin Mary appeared there in 1981.
