The Serb member of Bosnia’s tripartite Presidency told reporters on Wednesday that he is glad that the proposed EU Neighbourhood and Enlargement Commissioner comes from Hungary because “they have a sensibility toward the Balkans.”

Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik said he is looking forward to meeting with the proposed Hungary’s Laszlo Trocsanyi.
“I think that it is very important that he comes from Hungary, as they have a sensibility toward the Balkans,” he said, expressing satisfaction.
He said that Europe “suddenly realised that the arrivals of migrants must be stopped,” as they cause “a series of problems” ranging from social ones to religious ones.

He also said that there is a group led by French President Emmanuel Macron which is opposed to enlargement and that “this will be difficult to overcome, until Europe solves its own issues.”
