Public enterprises and Republika Srpska (RS) entity's Investment-Development Bank (IRBRS) stood at 1.2 billion marks (some €600 million) at the end of the first half of 2019, the RS Finance Ministry said Sunday.
Of this amount, the entity's public enterprises owed a little over 1 billion marks (nearly €500 million) while the IRBRS owed some 166 million (some €88 million).
Enterprises with the biggest debt are “Autoputevi RS” with just over half a billion marks (512 million marks or some €255 million), “Elektroprivreda RS” – 280 million marks (some €140 million), “Zeljeznice RS – 126 million marks (approx. €63 million) and “Putevi RS” – 89 million marks (or some €44 million).
Entity utility companies made a debt reaching 33 million marks, or some €17 million, said the RS Finance ministry.
