The third Pride titled “Who Your Heart Is Beating For” was held in Kosovo’s capital on Thursday without an incident, with LGBT activists calling for equal rights, a Kosovo online website reported.
The website said the Pride was organised by the Centre for Development of Social Groups (CSGD) and the Centre for Freedom and Equality (CEL) with their partner organisations Civil Rights Defenders (CRD) and the Youth Initiative for Human Rights in Kosovo.
One of the organisers Driton Veliu said the 2019 Pride attracted more people.
Bojan Lazic from Belgrade sad that two organisations “Da se zna” (Let it be known) and CRD supported Pristina Pride every year and the fight for LGBT community equal rights.
“Kosovo will always have support from Belgrade” in fighting for human rights,” he said.
US Ambassador Phillip Kosnett attended the Pride.
