The wife of Richmond Park Schools principal Fatih Keskin, a Turkish citizen who was residing in Bosnia for the past 20 years and was taken to a yet unknown location on Tuesday after speaking to police in the northwestern Una-Sana Canton, said in a video posted online that she fears for her husband’s safety.
“I am the wife of Fatih Keskin, who was illegally taken to Sarajevo today after speaking to the police. My husband has been working in education in Bosnia and Herzegovina for 15 years and he tries to contribute in every way to this country, which he sees as his homeland,” Zehra Kantar Keskin said in a video she posted on social media on Wednesday.

“We are extremely sad about what happened. I fear for my husband's safety. I believe that the law in Bosnia and Herzegovina will bring the truth to light,” she added.
According to Richmond Park Schools, Keskin was not allowed to contact his attorney when he spoke to police. The next time his family heard from him, he reportedly said he was in the migrant detention centre in Lukavica, near Sarajevo.
“We consider such treatment by the Una-Sana Canton's Interior Ministry and the Bihac Field Office of the Foreigners Affairs Service, who have ignored our requests to explain to us what was going on, to be unacceptable and a humiliation for our students, their parents, our collective and, of course, the family of our professor and principal Fatih Keskin,” a statement by Richmond Park College vice-principal Nermin Efendic said.
The Una-Sana Canton Police did not have a statement regarding this case, but Nedim Ademovic, an attorney who represented individuals whose extradition from Bosnia was requested by Turkish authorities, confirmed that Keskin was indeed arrested.
