Tourism has increased significantly in the past year in Bosnia’s capital, with 16,6 percent more tourists visiting Sarajevo in the first ten months of 2019 than in the same period the year before.
Of the 68,656 tourists who visited Sarajevo, 87,1 percent - or 59,791 - were foreigners.
Chinese tourists were the most numerous (10,077), followed by those from Croatia (5,852), Turkey (4,815), Slovenia (3,453), Serbia (2,743) and Germany (2,452).
