Six migrants, including two children, disappeared after the boat in which they tried to get to Croatia, capsized in the Danube at Karavukovo, near Sombor, in the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina on Monday.
A group of about 15 migrants tried to reach Croatia by crossing the Danube early on Monday morning, but their boat overturned shortly after they started the crossing, local media said citing eyewitnesses.
Four adults and two children have been reported missing, and local police have mounted a search. No other information was immediately available about the circumstances of the accident.
