Sarajevo welcomes 2020

“Welcome to Sarajevo, the centre of the region. Zeljko, thank you. It is important that we are united, as we can only do great things for our city and our country that way,” Sarajevo’s Mayor, Abdulah Skaka, said during the countdown.

Joksimovic said he was told that about 70 thousand people gathered at the Square of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“It is important that we enter the new year with a good attitude. Happy New Year,” he said, after which he performed the song ‘Sarajevo, my love’.
