Bosnian Embassy in Iran: Tehran returning to regular activities

After several days of mass demonstrations in Tehran, the situation is peaceful now and the citizens continued with their regular activities. Schools, colleges, public and private institutions, public transport and other public places are operating at full capacity, the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Islamic Republic of Iran said on Friday.

They said that the Embassy is in constant contact with Bosnia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but also with Bosnian citizens temporarily residing in that country.

According to their official data, there are 19 Bosnian citizens currently residing in the Islamic Republic.

Last week in Iran was in mourning over the death of General Qasim Soleimani, but the mourning was further deepened by the deaths of more than 50 Iranian citizens who died in a stampede in the city of Kerman, during a mass gathering as well as the crash of a Ukrainian passenger plane after taking off from Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran.
