Bosnia's national handball team lost its first match at the European Men's Handball Championship 2020 in Norway, against the host team, with the result of 32 – 26.
Despite opening the match with a 2 goal lead over the team Norway, the hosts finished the first half with the result 17 – 12.
Several minutes into the second half, Norway was 7 goals ahead, with the result of 19 – 12.
in the end, Norway proved to be too strong for Bosnia, justifying the title of Championship's favourites, winning the match 32 – 26.
Bosnia's next match is on Sunday, against team Portugal, and then on Tuesday against France.
Earlier on Friday, Portugal played France in Group D, achieving a sensational victory of 28 – 25.
The European Men's Handball Championship 2020 is the 14th edition of the tournament and for the first time ever, it is co-hosted by three countries, Austria, Norway and Sweden. The tournament will be held from January 9 to 26, 2020, featuring 24 teams.
