Elvedina Muzaferija, Bosnia’s best alpine skier has made a history of the country's international sport by becoming the first female skier of Bosnia to win points in the International Ski Federation's (FIS) World Cup event.
This weekend, Muzaferija took part in the Alpine combined competition in Austria’s Altenmarkt-Zauchensee ski resort and finished the second run as 29th, with time 2:12:70, a little over nine seconds behind the winner Federica Brignone of Italy.
The ranking was sufficient for Muzaferija to win the first points in the International Ski Federation's (FIS) World Cup competition.
The Bosnian skier finished the first run in 1:18:40, 4.6 seconds slower than Brignone.
