It seems that many use crises to stop all processes in the Bosnia and Herzegovina and to disintegrate it, Bosnian Croat leader Dragan Covic said marking the 30 anniversary of the foundation of his Croat Democratic Union (HDZ BiH) in Busovaca.
“It seems to me that many are using various crises to stop all processes and disintegrate Bosnia. Croats as the least numerous but largest political people in Bosnia, led by the HDZ BiH, will not tire of building Bosnia's Euro-Atlantic path. Only the Croatian people sincerely want Bosnia's Euro-Atlantic integrations,” Covic said. “We want to respect the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and we want very clearly, Bosnia to be a country of three constitutionally equal constituent peoples, represented by Croat representatives elected by the Croat people.”
Covic claimed that this is something that is neither retrograde nor against European standards.
“This is something that is enshrined in the Dayton Peace Agreement (which ended the 1992-1995 war in Bosnia), it is something that is precisely stated in Bosnia's Constitution.
HDZ BiH officials discussed the current political situation, infrastructure projects, the state of the economy, health, potentials and successes, as well as preparations for the upcoming October local elections.
