Bosnia's Federation (FBiH) entity Trade Minister Zlatan Vujanovic confirmed that all stores in the FBiH are properly stocked with all consumer goods, highlighting commodities such as food and hygiene products that are currently in high demand due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“All goods are fully accessible to consumers and there is no need to create crowds in stores and purchase large amounts of unnecessary supplies of consumer goods,” Vujanovic told Fena news agency.

Representatives of leading retail chains in the FBiH, with whom the FBiH Trade Ministry has been in constant contact, have informed Vujanovic that “supply chains from suppliers to retail outlets function properly and that all their capacities are adequately prepared for the potential increase in demand for certain product groups.”

The Ministry, in cooperation with the competent authorities and traders, will continue to monitor the situation and inform the public regarding the supply of consumer goods.
