Sarajevo airport closes for passenger traffic

Sarajevo International Airport closed indefinitely for passenger traffic as of Monday and will be open for cargo only.

Hungary's low-cast WizzAir flight was the last to depart from Sarajevo on Sunday, carrying the passengers to Budapest.

As one in the series of measures to tackle the coronavirus pandemic, Bosnian government passed a decision on March 30 to temporarily suspend the passenger traffic at the airports in Sarajevo, Mostar, Banja Luka and Tuzla.
