Due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, the Youth Initiative for Human Rights in Bosnia (YIHR BiH) this year marked April 5 and 6, important days in the history of Sarajevo and the country, by creating an educational video - a ‘virtual walk’ through the city.

“Young activists from out organisation, high school and university students, created a short video showing a virtual ‘walk’ through Sarajevo where they talk about important dates, developments and people involved in the resistance of the people of Sarajevo during World War Two and during the siege of Sarajevo,” YIHR BiH said.

The educational video is an opportunity for all to learn something new or be reminded of important historical facts from the safety of their home.
