Hospital fires doctor who came out of retirement to help during COVID-19 crisis

Stevanovic was one of the doctors who responded to a call by the hospital’s director, Zlatko Kravic, who recently called upon any retired epidemiologists and other specialists to step up and help during the health crisis.

Stevanovic told local media that he was told the reason behind the decision are statements he made to media, criticising the health care system.
