Russian experts give recommendations to Bosnian Serb entity regarding Covid-19

Russian doctors who came to help Bosnia's Serb-dominated Republika Srpska (RS) entity informed the RS Health Minister Alen Seranic of the recommendations given to entity health institutions, especially in the field of patient triage, the pathways of healthy and sick persons and the pathways of movement of healthcare professionals within medical facilities, the use of protective equipment and others measures aimed at improving the fight against the spread of Covid-19.

Medical teams from the Russian delegation, consisting of an epidemiologist, infectious diseases expert, anesthesiologist and a nurse, are visiting the RS to familiarize themselves with the situation regarding the Covid-19 in this entity, the way they work and the care the people infected with SARS-CoV-2 receive as well as the treatment of COVID-19 patients.

Over the past three days, a Russian disinfection team worked on the disinfection of various facilities in Banja Luka, the RS administrative centre.

During the talks with Minister Seranic, the Russian experts summarized their activities and observations so far and presented a plan of activities for the future.
