An Air Asia aircraft carrying ten tonnes of protective equipment Malaysia donated to Bosnia and Herzegovina arrived at the Sarajevo International Airport on Wednesday evening.
“The Malaysian Government sent the aid, which is the biggest donation our country has received yet for the fight against the coronavirus pandemic,” the spokesperson for the Sarajevo International Airport, Sanja Bagaric, told N1.
According to official data, about 1110 people have contracted the coronavirus since it came to the country in March and more than 40 passed away due to COVID-19.
