The largest shipment of ventilators from China arrives in Sarajevo

The medical equipment that was purchased by the Government of Bosnia's Federation (FBiH) entity was taken over by prime minister Fadil Novalic.

“The assistance of our friends from all over the world, as well as our domestic companies and donors, is important, so I'm using this opportunity to thank them. But, what also matters is our power as an institution to get what we need, especially in such unprecedented conditions of competition on the medical equipment market,” said Novalic.

“With this so far the largest shipment of ventilators, our healthcare system will get even stronger to face the pandemic. Besides these 80 ventilators that we will deliver across the FBiH, the remaining 20 more will arrive, which will make the total of 100 new ventilators,” he added.

According to Novalic, the Government will continue purchasing coronavirus tests and protective gear for the healthcare system in the FBiH.
