Bosnia's state police interviewed on Tuesday Bosnian Serb leader and Serb Presidency member Milorad Dodik as a witness in the investigation into threats Dodik received last year, learns N1.

According to Luka Miladinovic, the Spokesperson of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), Dodik gave a statement as a witness in the case investigating the threats he had received last year in the comment section on the website of the local BN television (BN TV).

Opposition leader Branislav Borenovic was interviewed in the same case.

The media earlier wrongly reported that Dodik was interrogated as a suspect in connection with the alleged wiretapping affair that the opposition accused him of.

Asked if the Serb Presidency member would be interrogated within this case, the SIPA briefly replied that the case would be carried out in line with orders of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
